The first half of 2020 Nielsen Music Report is an analysis of the figures and trends related to music such as selling digital album and digital download and audio streaming in the US, compiled from January 3 to July 2, 2020.
The top 10 albums total sales charts, where BTS ranked No.1, summarizing the number of albums sold as CDs, LPs, and cassettes, and the number of downloads of digital albums.
Specifically, the BTS ranks first with 528,000 records in the Top 10 Albums of Physical, which only count the actual album sales.
In the top 10 chart albums that add up to the number of albums sold, as well as the number of streaming and downloading, Map of the Sol: 7 ranked 84 with 842 000 copies, and in the fields of pop, real albums and digital downloads, audio streaming, etc. Top 5 Genre Artists, which calculates volume sales, ranking second.
Billboard said on December 10, "Map of the Sol:7 is the most selling album in the US in the first half of 2020 and only album sold more than 500,000 copies.
Billboard also said, "BTS sell 757,000 copies of all records in the US in the first half of this year, including CDs, LPs, cassettes, and digital album, and record album sales.
