Because of this phrase written on his T-Shirt, I.M MONSTA X Teaser Photo Receives a Protest

In his latest teaser picture, I.M MONSTA X recently received a shocking response from netizens who noticed anomalies.

  MONSTA X posted several teaser pictures of rapper Changkyun, or generally known as I.M, on Sunday (14-02) KST night, ahead of the release of his solo mini album 'Duality.'

But in one of three photos sent as a teaser that night, fans found I.M wearing a T-shirt printed with Lafaz Basmalah "Bismillahirrahmannirrahiim," which means "by chanting the name of Allah, the Most Gracious."

  Muslims read this pronunciation on various occasions, initiating something before reading the Al-Qur'an or before praying.

  This issue receives enough attention, especially from Muslim fans and netizens, because this issue will raise concerns about cultural and religious insensitivity, which is indeed the case among idols many times.

Because of this issue, many fans then blame the agency for the stylists who handle outfits that should be worn by idols.
