Big Hit and Universal Music Joined Forces To Create a Global Boy Group Through Auditions in America

 

In order to build a global boy group, Big Hit Entertainment and Universal Music Group have joined forces. 

The two companies revealed their strategic collaboration on Thursday, Feb.18, which had previously been initiated by the VenewLive platform, a streaming platform used for online concerts.

 As Big Hit Entertainment's global CEO Lenzo Yoon said,

 "Big Hit Entertainment will launch a new boy group that will be involved on the international stage along with Universal Music Group. Via global auditions, we will pick the participants and in 2022 we expect to broadcast the audition program through the US media. "

Big Hit Entertainment will be responsible for preparing the members of the boy group, according to him, while Universal Music Group will establish an audition program with media partners in the United States. A joint venture will act as the label managing this new group in Los Angeles. Via Big Hit America, our US branch, Big Hit will collaborate with Universal Music Group,' 

he said. 

Previously, Big Hit Entertainment collaborated with the CJ ENM company to debut a new boy group named ENHYPEN.
