BTS J-Hope directly thanked his fans for the news that the sculpture message of the fan message has been completed in his hometown, Gwangju.

  K-Pop Art School, which oversees the creation of "K-POP Star Street" in Gwangju Metropolitan City, posted a photo on SNS Twitter on February 5, saying, "J-Hope sent a  thank you letter after seeing Hope World sculpture! ". 


J-Hope mentioned "Gwangju" several times in the lyrics of the song, and entered the two largest music charts in the world, the US Billboard Chart and the UK Official Single Chart, and contributed to the introduction of Gwangju town to the world.In this way, J-Hope can express his love for his hometown Gwangju through songs.

 J-Hope is one of the first Korean singers to enter the main chart of Billboard's album 'Billboard 200' for two weeks in a row. His tracks 'Airplane' and 'Hope World' contain lyrics and 'Gwangju Native'.  

‘Gwangju’ is also mentioned in the lyrics of ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’, the second Korean solo singer after Psy  which simultaneously entered the main single charts of the US, UK, and Canada.  BTS '' Ma City ' song includes ' Gwangju' and '518-062'. 



 "K-POP Star's Street" in Chungjang-ro Alley is a star printing, memorial hall and murals for creating a place for youth to enjoy the passion and inspiration of youth and cultivate them as a specialist tourist content for Gwangju, which has created many Hallyou stars.

  K-pop stars from Gwangju include J-Hope, Yunho of TVXQ, Wonder Girls Yubin, 2NE1Gong Minji, Miss A Suzy, Monsta X Hyungwon and IM, EXID Hyerin, Nine Muses Hyemi and Sojin, ATEEZ  Yunho, Lovelyz Baby Soul.
