GOT7's Jackson disclosed a fact that stunned fans.
Jackson appeared as a guest on DIVE Studio's new podcast, "GET REAL," after leaving JYP Entertainment's agency.
Jackson speaks about several things about his future in the podcast. Nevertheless, the thing that is in the spotlight of supporters is the promotion strategy of GOT7 participants in the future.
"Jackson said, "This year I'm going to start working in Korea. We have terminated the JYP Entertainment deal. " Jackson clarified that for the next few years, each of the members would concentrate on solo activities.
Many fans were surprised that this year Jackson was only able to prepare for solo activities in Korea, because though under contract with JYP Entertainment, he was not permitted to carry out solo promotions in Korea.
As Jackson said, "I can work anywhere except in Korea as a soloist." That's the agreement . But I will bring everything back (to Korea) after the contract ends,' said the idol.
Jackson also revealed that he is writing an English and Mandarin album at the moment. Similarly, JB, Yugyeom and Youngjae, each of whom is planning their solo albums.
