Rumors of bullying that dragged K-Pop idol names have now re-emerged and dragged down one of the girl group (G) I-DLE members, Soojin.
On February 20, a netizen appeared in Korea who revealed shocking facts in an online community by accusing Soojin (G) I-DLE of bullying their younger brother while in middle school.
He then told of the bullying by Soojin, mentioning the (G) I-DLE member called his younger brother and a friend of his sister to the restroom and slapped them.
After that, Soojin allegedly spread the message all over the school, stating that his younger brother is now being treated as an “outcast”.
Netizens find that this is not the first time that accusations of bullying have been raised to the surface. Similar rumors have circulated in one of the online communities in the past, but the rumors were quickly deleted after getting a lot of protests from fans.
A similar confession also appeared in other SNS communities, where a user claimed that they were bullied by Soojin while in middle school.
Seeing the many rumors targeting the artist, CUBE Entertainment as the agency that oversees Soojin (G) I-DLE immediately gave a statement by saying, "We are aware of the controversy and are currently checking the facts."
