The 30th award ceremony for the 'Seoul Music Awards' attracted criticism from fans of K-Pop.

The criticism was sent to the 30th Seoul Music Awards, which censored the faces of B.I, Seungri and T.O.P. from BIGBANG.

The 30th 'Seoul Music Awards' first played a video featuring the Daesang and Rookie of the Year winners from previous years, just before revealing the Daesang winner, which was won by BTS.

The 30th 'Seoul Music Awards' censored the faces of T.O.P, Seungri and B.I. when playing the video of BIGBANG welcoming Daesang in 2007 and iKON welcoming Rookie of the Year in 2015.

The censorship was carried out because T.O.P was previously involved in cases of marijuana use, B.I was involved in purchases of marijuana, and Seungri was involved in prostitution, gambling and 'Burning Sun' cases.

Many fans, however, criticized the 30th 'Seoul Music Awards' parties for censoring B.I and T.O.P, given that B.I has been proved innocent, while T.O.P has pondered his past errors and has now improved.
